This week, the TWG team pulled off three, separate galas, back-to-back, Monday through Wednesday.
First up – Green Door’s Remarkable Journeys gala. Green Door is a nonprofit , community-based mental health agency located in Washington, D.C.

Save the Date for Green Door
The Green Door Remarkable Journeys gala celebrated the recovery and remarkable journeys of those living with mental illness. Barbara Harrison (NBC4 News) emceed the evening as 200 guests gathered to honor House Minority Whip, Steny Hoyer of Maryland and Donald Graham, Chairman and CEO of The Washington Post.

As guests enjoyed horseradish crusted filet paired with pacific halibut, awards were presented by Senator Roy Blunt (MO) and Bill Marriot, Chairman of the Board of Marriott (did we mention we were at the JW Marriot last night? Talk about great service when the boss is in town!). Legendary Grammy-Award winning musician, Judy Collins, sang Both Sides Now and a soaring rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow to cap off the evening.
